The earliest known frog appeared during the late Jurassic period, about 190 million years ago! Scientists believe that the oldest frogs developed jumping legs to avoid being eaten by dinosaurs. Specimens on the first known frogs have been found on Navajo Indian reservations in Arizona. Fossils of meat-eating fish and reptiles such as dinosaurs have also been found at the same site!

I love the blog's title. I'll have to check in if you have added more. Good luck with the blog.
ReplyDeleteHey, thanks for the return comment. No problem. I know how it goes with blogging. Sometimes there is stuff to write about, time to write and will desire and will to do it. Other times, well, other things are more important. No problem. I will have a look from time to time. I enjoy looking around at unusual stuff about nature...and you do have a cool name. Cheers.
